Azazel · final line, EP02Azazel is the patient demon. Where Mammon is a tech-bro frothing on his hoodie, Azazel sits across a polished holographic chess board in a suit that costs more than the rented penthouse around him. He doesn’t rush. He doesn’t cheat. He doesn’t need to.
Each piece on his board is a victim. The pawns are students. The rooks are retirees. The bishops are partners. The queen is a mother. He explains nothing until the piece is captured. Then he reads the name out loud, slowly. The board does the rest of the work.
Under his white designer suit, ancient runes. Under the runes, ancient orange demon robes. The orange Bitcoin tattoo on his cheekbone is a brand mark. It spreads when his form drops.
The dignity death.
The contrast with Mammon is the entire point. Mammon screamed on his knees. Azazel does not. He stands. He dissolves upright. His final line is a threat dressed as a shrug:
A thousand games running. A thousand Jakes. You can’t stop them all.
Exorcista answers him with five words: I just need to stop you. Checkmate.
